A true moorland classic
A high level moorland challenge over Saddleworth Moor, visiting 10 local res’s along the way. Due to the time of year, full winter kit is required including full waterproof cover; hat and gloves; map and compass; bivvy bag, spare clothing and extra food.

Ten Res’s will be even better for 2025! You may notice the price has increased slightly, this is to cover the addition of an indoor checkpoint and also Open Tracking to our event. Your friends and family will be able to follow your progress around the route, but more importantly so will we. In the event of bad winter weather both of these additions will help to enable us to ensure your safety.
Early Starters inc. walkers – 8am start
Running Race – 9am start
Age limit for the race is 18. Dogs are allowed on the early start only, but must remain on a lead at all times.
This race is run under UKA rules. It is also licensed with the Trail Running Association (TRA) and Fell Running Assosiation (FRA). You can find more info on the FRA and the TRA including how to join by clicking on the buttons below:

Unable to run? As runners it can be frustrating when you can’t join in the fun. But if you can spare the time, then volunteer to be a marshal at one of our races. You will be given race credit to use at any of our races once you are up and about again. Just contact us.
